Important Emergency Disclaimer:

4. Appointments, Scheduling & Session Formats
Appointments can be scheduled via WhatsApp (+380 67 447 33 27) or via the website contact form.
- Session Formats: Consultations are conducted online via high-quality encrypted video conferencing (Zoom, WhatsApp, Skype) or in-person in Paris, France by appointment.
- Punctuality: Sessions begin precisely at the agreed-upon time. If you join late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to ensure respect for subsequent clients.
- Confirmation: An appointment is officially confirmed once both parties have agreed upon the date, time, and session format.
5. Cancellation, Rescheduling & 24-Hour Policy
Therapeutic time is dedicated exclusively to you. To ensure predictability and mutual professional respect:
24-Hour Notice Requirement:
If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, you must notify Tetiana Shkliaruk at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
- Cancellations with >24 Hours Notice: The session may be rescheduled or cancelled without fee.
- Late Cancellations (<24 Hours Notice) & No-Shows: Because the reserved time slot cannot be allocated to other clients on short notice, sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or missed entirely are billed at the full session fee.
- Therapist Cancellation: In the rare event that Tetiana Shkliaruk must reschedule due to unforeseen illness or emergency, you will be notified at the earliest possible opportunity and offered an immediate priority alternative time.
6. Fees, Payment Terms & Invoicing
- Transparency of Fees: Session fees are communicated and agreed upon before the initial consultation.
- Payment Timing: For online consultations, payment is due prior to or immediately upon completion of each session, unless a package arrangement has been established.
- Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via international bank transfer (IBAN/SEPA), online card payment, or direct transfer.
- Invoicing & Insurance: Written receipts/invoices are provided upon request. Depending on your country and private supplementary health insurance (mutuelle), psychological therapy sessions may be eligible for partial or full reimbursement. Clients are responsible for verifying coverage with their insurer.
7. Remote Online Consultations (Telehealth Guidelines)
Online therapy is highly effective and flexible. To maintain the therapeutic container and ensure optimal clinical outcomes, clients agree to:
- Be in a private, quiet, and secure space where conversations cannot be overheard.
- Ensure a stable internet connection, functioning webcam, and microphone.
- Refrain from driving, multitasking, or being under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed substances during consultations.
- Refrain from recording audio or video of sessions without prior explicit mutual agreement.
8. Confidentiality & Ethical Standards
All consultations are governed by strict professional secrecy under the Code of Ethics for Psychologists. Information discussed during therapy will not be shared with any third party, employer, or family member without your explicit written consent.
The only legal exceptions to confidentiality occur under mandatory statutory reporting duties (e.g. imminent danger of grave bodily harm to self or others, child abuse protection), as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
9. Ending Therapy & Professional Referrals
Therapy is voluntary. You have the right to discontinue consultations at any point. Because therapeutic endings are an important part of psychological integration, it is warmly recommended to hold a final closure session to review progress and transition mindfully.
Tetiana Shkliaruk reserves the right to refer a client to another medical specialist, psychiatric facility, or clinic if it becomes clear that the client requires a specialized level of clinical care outside the scope of private Gestalt psychotherapy.
